This  $2,000 University of Oregon award aimed at covering the costs of professional development opportunities allowed me to enroll in ICPSR month-long quantitative methods Summer school course at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).


Research Award For Publication

University of Oregon, Spring 2022 

This small award was issued by the Department of Sociology for the best academic article published during the  2021- 2022 academic year.  

Gary E. Smith Professional Development Award

University of Oregon, Summer 2021 

This  $3,000 University of Oregon award aimed at covering the costs of professional development opportunities allowed me to enroll in "Understanding Forest Carbon Management” course at Michigan State University. 

SYLFF  Fellowship for International Research

Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund, 2020-2021 

SYLFF Fellowship for International Research is a highly competitive grant of $15,000 aimed at providing full-year support to promising graduate students conducting research outside of the US. 

Department of Sociology Small Grants Award

University of Oregon, Fall 2017, 2018, 2020 

The Small Grants award provided by the Department of Sociology helped me to cover the costs  associated with professional translation work and qualitative data analysis software.

Civil Society in Russia Grant

Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies, Summer-Fall 2019 

The Civil Society in Russia Grant is a competitive grant provided by the American Association for Slavic, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies. The $6,000 award was aimed at covering the costs of traveling to Russia to conduct field work. 

Young Leaders Program Award

Northeast Asian Economic Forum, August 2017 

This competitive scholarship was provided by the Northeast Asian Economic Forum. The award covered the costs of traveling, accommodation, and daily expenses for the two-week-long stay in Hong Kong.
